We Tv’s Love After Lockup is scheduled to release its next episode soon. A reality show like no other, Love After Lockup deals with couples whose love transcends all barriers, even the bars of a jail cell. The pair meet up, chat, and get to know each other while one of them is incarcerated.

The show first premiered in January 2018. The reality show soon gained a lot of attention, causing it to be immediately renewed for another season. Love After Lockup is now airing its fourth season, which started this year in March. The series is now at its end, with the next episode being the final one.

The couples on the show are real people who’ve committed crimes. Usually, they are in jail due to minor charges, but we’ve seen some inmates that had committed serious crimes such as murder and kidnapping. That doesn’t stop these convicts from trying to find love.

The season began with the episode “Happily Ever After” where all the couples were introduced along with their unusual lovers. Couples covered this season are:

Out of all the inmates, Martel was the one with the longest time in prison, with 13 years in line for Gun trafficking. Tiffany, who was from Texas was spending 5 years as she was caught with a controlled substance, Harry Velez, who pursued Indie, was in jail for Robbery and Kidnapping.

Raydean, Texas, was going to be in jail for 5 years as she had also been caught possessing a controlled substance and tried to avoid her arrest. Antoine, who Lacey was head over heels for, had stolen a vehicle. Chance had been caught while performing a burglary and theft.

The inmates had almost completed their terms at the beginning of the season and were all set to move out and start a fresh life. However, Once their lovers were out of jail, most of them had now changed their goals. It was evident that some were just manipulating others to get out of prison quickly.

Indie, had been hearing rumors of Harry cheating on her, so she confronts him before she shifts to Ohio for him. Later she comes back to Maryland when she finds the rumors to be true. Tayler and her sister talk about Chance. She didn’t seem sure whether Chance could be trusted.

Most of the parents of non-inmates were skeptical about the loyalty and goals of the inmates that claimed to love them. Unfortunately, they end up being right in most cases. Even so, the season also showed a detailed analysis of a relationship that exists when two people love each other even in grim circ*mstances. Some of the members did find true love behind bars.

In the last episode that aired on October 14, 2022, we were able to see where each couple was. Tayler and Chance were having Tayler do a paternity test as Chance feels the child is not his. They also prepare for the gender reveal party.

Daonte and Lindsey break up after Lindsey realizes she doesn’t love Daonte anymore and would rather be with her best friend Blaine. Amber and Puppy talk about Amber’s pregnancy and how having a child is risky for her.

Britney and Ray have a beautiful wedding with their whole family invited. Chance, on the other hand, receives the DNA results and they confirm he is the father. Marcelino and Brittany end up fighting and Marcelino leaves the house.

Shawn comes over to Destinie’s house, and Sara ends up calling him while he’s there. This causes both the girls to accuse each other of stealing Shawn.

Later at the end of the episode, Puppy and Amber have a walk in the woods while Amber confesses her feelings of sadness as she had health conditions that would make conceiving hard for her.
