We had a family room for six. Very clean and well maintained, it looked like it was just built yesterday. The auto check-in and checkout system is very easy to use. The phone in the room is only for the hotel services only, no outgoing calls not even local calls. The top deck bed I put holds 80 kg, mainly for one adult or 2 children. Best experience in a hotel on Genting so far, way better than other hotels I stayed in like Resort and First World.

Guests can utilize the self check in/out for seamless check in. The family room was sufficiently big to cater for 6pax. The room is also clean and bright. The hotel is also conveniently located near restaurants. It would be great if there are security measures that require guests to tap key card to access their floor.

I stayed here with my family for a 3D2N trip. We arrived a bit early but were able to check in earlier for an additional fee. The check-in process was generally smooth. We had mistakenly booked a king room instead of a quad room, but surprisingly, the king-size bed was spacious enough for 2 adults and our 8 year old child (although snug for 3). The room included all basic amenities like such as free Wi-Fi, toiletries, and a kettle. While the furnishings were basic, the room's doodle-themed design offered a refreshingly unique touch for a hotel. Our room didn't offer the best view, but it was clean and well-ventilated, with natural air circulation that made a fan unnecessary. Situated at the fat end of the Valley wing, our room was a 5 - 10 mins walk from the lobby, so we could easily clock over 10,000 steps per day during the stay. The hotel's location was great as it's directly opposite the outdoor theme park. It's also conveniently close to a mall for dining and shopping options. Would highly recommend this hotel to families planning to visit the theme park.

The room is comfortable, there is no air conditioner, but the night temperature is cool enough for you to get sleep. The location is right opposite the outdoor theme park, but a small distance to the indoor theme park, not good for old folks who can’t walk far.The service and staff was super friendly, the process was pretty quick. There’s no buggy service to first world hotel but you can call a taxi to there, it’s about MYR10 for less than 6 personsYou can self checkout if you want.

A highly convenient place to stay if you’re going to spend most of your time at Sky Avenue and SkyWorlds Theme Park! The room is very minimally furnished, so don’t expect a luxurious bedroom—you’re paying more for the convenience I feel. It is clean and I love the fresh air and view from the balcony!

Check in was crowded albeit using self check in machine as many users experience some minor issues and there were insufficient staff around to assist. We managed to check in after about 30mins.As we saw the other reviews about noise when facing the main road, we requested for high floor rooms facing the mountains instead. The rooms were much better than expected, clean and spacious as we got 2 interconnecting sixers room at 4th floor for 5 adults and 3 children.Weather was cold for the 2 nights we stayed and hence our room was cool enough albeit having only 1 small ceiling fan in each room, windows can also be opened.Location was good, 5 mins walk to the main stretch of shopping/restaurants /casino/ indoor theme park at Sky Avenue. Directly opposite the outdoor theme park.Would definitely recommend for families.

I recently stayed at Genting Skyworld Hotel from 27Sep - 29 Sep and was given a room on level 1, right beside the road.Unfortunately, the loud vehicle noises at night made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On the plus side, the hotel did provide basic amenities, and the cleanliness of the room was acceptable. However, due to the noise issue, I probably won’t be returning to this hotel if I visit Genting again. See the picture (from google map). Circled is my room.

(Tradução do Google) Uma boa propriedade para estadia em família para ficar com crianças e família. Encontrar onde o hotel está localizado será difícil porque não há instruções adequadas. A estadia é obrigatória se você planeja visitar parques temáticos.Dica: restaurantes vegetarianos muito limitados nos shoppings de Genting(Original)A good family stay property to stay with kids and family. Finding where the hotel is located will be difficult as no proper directions. A stay is mandatory if planning to visit theme parks.Tip : very very limited veg restaurants in the genting malls

I hate to leave negative reviews but it’s important to share the details so people can make an informed choice. So here goesPROBLEMS1) the window blinds don’t fully cover the windows, and the hotel has bright colourful lights outside as part of their design. So at night you get a rainbow blasting in through the gap in the blinds2) at around 8:30 or 9am the theme park opposite turns on its video billboard and welcome music super loud - so if you or your kids want to sleep then, no chance. The same music goes all day until night so if you have a napping baby then good luck3) no breakfast - though it’s attached to a mall so plenty of options there4) no wardrobes - just some hooks on the wallIf you can look past these - you just need somewhere to lay your head while exploring… you sleep soundly and easily - then it’s fine.Great that it’s connected to the mall which has an amazing array of restaurants and shops.Staff were super friendly and trying hard even though it seems reception was PACKED 24-7But if you want something properly nice or fancy or a touch of luxury then this isn’t for you. Felt a bit more like where you’d go for a school camp.

Overall, not recommended for couples and seniors for reasons below.Good:- Rooms were clean- Staff were courteous- Self service check out kiosks are available where you can just do a simple tap and drop into the box.Bad:- The entire hotel is decorated with what others call it "kid-friendly" scribbles and doodles that severely cheapened the look of the place. In the rooms, the kid doodle stickers are all over our TV, blinds and walls.- The lobby is designed like a forest playground. The self check in kiosks had an error for my booking and i had to go to through manual counter. The concierge is a circular counter that had no clear markings for counters. This made everyone just crowd around with long wait time which makes it a poor welcome experience.- Beds were quite hard and not very comfortable. There were brown stains on the pillow cases.- Rooms have no air-conditioning, which is conceptually fine since Genting is cold. But ventilation becomes stuffy and stale in the room. Windows could only be opened a crack and can't really catch a breeze.- In terms of distance, our room was also placed on another building (Valley Wing) that was an additional 5-7 min walk from the main lobby, making it a 15-20min walk to the main mall area.

We stayed in March 2024 with our kids (ages 11 and 5), and the room suited us well. It had basic amenities but was spacious. The toilet and shower were separate, which was convenient. Although there wasn’t a closet, there were a few hooks on the wall for hanging clothes. The kids loved the bunk bed. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the theme park, shopping mall, and cable car station. There was no air conditioning, but opening the window kept the room cool enough. The parking fee was a bit expensive, and it was an open car park. However, the front desk staff informed us of a cheaper covered car park nearby. It was our first time in Genting, and the roads were a bit confusing, so we ended up going around a few times before finding the car park. There are a lot of food options at the mall nearby, there is also a small grocery store inside.

A family-friendly hotel is ideal for 4 people in 1 room, as they have 2 queen-size beds. This hotel is suitable and recommended for those who want to stay and want to enjoy the outdoor theme park, which is located opposite the hotel. Kids will like the rooms because of the rooms's features. They do have rooms that are suitable for six people, too. If you wanted to go to Skyavenue, a restaurant, or a shop, you would need to walk approximately 8–10 minutes. Overall, it's a good hotel for families.

Great hotel for the budget. The location and orientation was confusing at first but it took us a day to figure things out. The valley wing is a long walk for us. We were placed on 2nd floor and there was no views at all since the wall was too high. We felt like living in a cave. Thankfully there is a small garden in front of the hotel with spectacular view. However walking there also takes a bit of turns and uphill steps so people on wheelchairs will have no easy access. The room deco looks childish and probably designed for family with kids. Will return to book resort hotel next time.

The room is complete with all necessary equipments. Spacious space, and has cubicles for shower & loo separately. Just that, the room is rather quite too far from the lobby area, I’ve gotten the one in Valley Wing. Guarantee you 1000 steps a day 😂

they have very limited connecting rooms so chances of getting 1 is probably very very slim but do book your rooms together under one person's name instead of multiple bookings so your rooms would most likely be next to each other (as per concierge) and that was what we got. we booked 4 rooms and all were same floor side by side. self check-in kiosks are a bit slow so give it some time when u are scanning your passports. 1 passport scanned gives 1 key card so u need to scan 2 passports to get 2 key cards so get ready all the passports if you need 2 (max).room wise was ok. size is considered big for 2-4 pax. clean and no foul smell. toilet and shower are separated. though both have individual doors, there's still lack of privacy as there's no additional door outside as the hooks for ur towels and clothes are outside the shower.kettle is clean, towels are clean. bedroom slippers, small mineral water bottles, 4 hangers provided.mattresses are on a big platform so might not be very convenient for elderly or anyone who has mobility issues. however the platform has large spaces for luggages.soundproofing of the rooms are BAD. keep hearing foot stamping noises from all over, ppl talking next door and corridor can be heard.hotel is near outdoor theme park but very far from other places. if u are seeking to hit ur 10k steps daily then u can consider this hotel LOLwe left sth in the room after checked out, informed staff and he immediately activated another key card for us to retrieve our item.

They just got everything right! What can I say about this hotel: It’s brilliant in every aspect. Perfect location, walking distance to the theme park (less than 3 min walk) or getting to just about everywhere else too. The building is a hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of the central of Genting. You walk into the unassuming walkway (sky bridge) and enter a lovely reception decorated in a jungle theme. A lift takes you up to the bedrooms. The rooms are quiet and you don’t realise until you open the windows/ doors the nois that’s blocked out. The decor is very boutique and the building has retained some lovely character. Beds are comfortable and the room itself is spotlessly clean. Moreover, there’s a garden next to the hotel which offers a great view over the mountainous area around. To top it, all the management and staff were amazing. Engaging, informative, friendly and approachable. They made us feel like home from home. We felt like we’d been welcomed like old friends. I’d not hesitate to recommend this establishment for board.A gem for sure and if we come back to Genting, there’s nowhere else I’d stay. All I can say to each and every member of the team is, thank you for being the icing on the cake of a lovely trip to Genting.

RM800 for a night, no window curtain, only blinds. If you put the blind down, the wind blows and the blind will have knocking sound. We are at 3rd floor facing the road, and you know the amount of cars would like to try their exhaust at this place. Since the room has no aircond, you wouldn’t want your window shut, pick your poison here, stuffier or noisier room.Toilet has no door and there’s no place to hang in the cubicle,, hence you gotta come out naked to get your clothes. If you are with your friends, then it’s pretty tough.Early check in costs extra RM5, which is a steal if you check in at 12. However our room was ready at 2:45pm, and when were using the self checkin kiosk, we managed to get our key at 2:56pm. Staff suggested us to wait a little while more so we don’t need to pay the extra RM5, but looking at the queue behind us, we would rather get scammed to save that hassle.I can’t seem to find a good place to park near to this hotel, in the end parked at Sky Avenue, which is 500m away.Due to the landscape of Genting, it’s really hard to get around when you are with a stroller.

No AC and require to open the window, unable to sleep well due to the noisy traffic (extremely noisy even late night) and light leaks from the curtain blind. The room is not sound proof either, could hear other customers walking and talking passed the room.Room is spacious for family stay. Check-in is seamless. Next to the theme park.

This was the most terrible hotel i ever stayed. Upon check in the bed sheets were crumpled and there were fine hairs on it. So we asked for a fresh change. Coming up in the next two days were more irritations. There's so much cooking smell coming from no where day and night. When someone upstairs(direct / indirect above ) on water tap the weird pipe pressure noise was so loud. Door smashing noise kids rolling on floor, chair pulling, window roller blind metal knocking on the wall when it ventilated...... Only good thing about it is the big space compared to first world.
